1. Relationships (Mark 3:14). What matters most in this world to God is people. His greatest desire is to have a relationship with us, and our greatest desire is to have a relationship with Him. He has also created us to have relationships with one another. Relationship with God and with others is the essence of Church.
2. Transformation (Romans 12:2). Through a relationship with Jesus, our lives are transformed. We believe that knowing Jesus changes peoples lives—giving them healing, peace, and fulfillment. Our goal is not just to get a bunch of people together, but also to see lives transformed by the power of God.
3. Simplicity (Philippians 4:13). With Christ, all things are possible, and they are possible through ordinary believers. We don’t want a shallow church, but a church where each person can be all they have been created to be in Christ.
4. Reproduction (2 Timothy 2:2). Disciples are meant to reproduce disciples, and churches are meant to reproduce churches. Our goal is not to simply add disciples to our church, but to multiply churches and develop a network of organic churches.
5. Dependence (John 15:5). Apart from Christ, we can do nothing. In Christ, all things are possible. We are fully dependent on God to live our desired lifestyle and to see our dreams come true. For this reason we are a people of prayer and people of Scripture.
6. Participation (1 Corinthians 12:7,11) Christianity is not a spectator sport. God has a plan and a ministry for all of his children, and we want to help people find their place and live the life God has given them to live—a life of service to God and to His creation.
